Flower Design Workshop

Join us at the farm, Sunday August 11th (The end of Vermont Open Farm Week!) for a fresh cut flower arranging workshop led by Tina Sawtelle of Pinewoods Yankee Farm, (also known as Dahlia's mom!)

We'll have a fresh cut flower bar with stems from our gardens, and the u-pick garden will be open.

Tina will lead a 1.5 hour workshop with tips and tricks for creating beautiful bouquets, and you'll leave with your own creation!

Bring a watertight container that's special to you, or choose from our eclectic mix of vases and repurposed containers.

Bring scissors or snippers if you have them.

Light refreshments will be provided. Feel free to bring your favorite summer beverage!

Tina is a farmer/florist in New Hampshire that had been successfully growing and designing beautiful arrangements for weddings, events, institutions, businesses and the local community for many years! She’ll help with tips and tricks for designing, but you’re free to let your creativity run wild- we’ve loved to see the variety of arrangements that participants have created in past years!

**Update: unfortunately we are going to postpone the VT Open Farm Week farm tours and special events Sunday 8/4 due to expected thunderstorms.

Join us during Vermont Open Farm Week!

This walking tour is well suited for those looking for a deeper dive into the behind the scenes on our diversified farm where we produce 100% grass fed beef, strawberries and blueberries, u-pick flower gardens, and operate a bustling farmstand filled with local goods.

Must be willing to walk on all all types of surfaces, and up and down hills for an extended period. We'll talk in more detail about production methods, conservation practices and projects, and what we've learned building and evolving our business over the last 9 years. Bring your questions, curiosity and walking shoes!

For a more family friendly tour of the basics with less walking, check out our Hay Wagon Tours and Farm Fun , earlier in the day at 10 and 11 am!

Our well stocked farmstand and blueberry u-pick will also be open 8am-8pm.

This is a free event, but we would love it if you chose to purchase something from the farmstand, or pick some blueberries while you're here!
